Christian Remedies
The Bible is great literature but more importantly it is the inspired Word of God. Every life situation that we will face while on planet earth is addressed. God knew that we would experience trials and tribulations so He left us with the remedies in His Word.
- When in SORROW - John 14:1
- "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."
- When man FAILS you - John 15:13-14
- 13 "Greater love hat no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you."
- When you have SINNED - Psalms 51:1-4
- 1 "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindess: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
- 2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
- 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
- 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest."
- When you are in Danger - Psalms 91:1-4
- 1 "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
- 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
- 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
- 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his trust shall be thy shield and buckler."
- When you WORRY - Matthew 6:26-30
- 26 "Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
- 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
- 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
- 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
- 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
- 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
- 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things."
