Let's Read the Bible
It is important to read God's Word daily. 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth".
The Bible reveals God's nature in its versatile forms. We need to have an all-encompassing view of God's power, wrath, love, mercy, intelligence, pity and greatness so we can understand what He desires in our relationships to others and to Him.
Every time you read God's Word new truths are revealed that is why studying the Bible is a lifelong undertaking.
Once you have read the entire Bible do it again but use a different translation or read two different translations simultaneously.
We are going to read the entire Holy Bible together. Reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelations is not the best way to read this book because of it uniqueness. Below is a balanced weekly reading schedule to follow. It calls for reading the Old Testament and the New Testament simultaneously. On this schedule in one year we will read the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice.
